According to media reports, the Saudis were asked to deliver a letter from the Iranian leadership to Donald Trump so as to resume a nuclear talk, which had been suspended for the time being. Tehran tried to deny the reports by saying it’s Washington D.C. that shall change its hostile course vis-à-vis the Iranian in advance, when the former really wants to resume the nuclear talks.
Having said that, I personally have the impression there could be two scenarios which could turn out to be realized in the end of the story. First, there is a possibility that the Iranian really wanted to restart the diplomatic round with the American so as to bring back their status in the international community. However, there could the second version of the interpretation: the Saudis, who pretend as if they were neutral mediator between Tehran and Washington D. C. , are so afraid of the upcoming reconciliation between the two nations, that they try to destroy all the diplomatic efforts the Iranian have been made for their own future.
Well, let’s see what will take place in this regard. At least, we shouldn’t forget it’s the Iranian issue that continues to matter besides screaming from Kiev. Stay alarmed.
